Site Surveys Limited was formed in 1993 by Greg Stimpson to cater for the surveying needs of Auckland’s Civil Construction Industry.
We are experienced in all aspects of engineering surveying including:
Setout duties for all types of civil construction including major NZTA projects and large scale residential developments, earthworks, drainage, roading and structures.
Data collection (by topographic survey) for:
a] Calculation of earthworks quantities
b] Existing-features surveys for consultants’ design purposesAs-built surveys for contractors, consultants and local authorities.
Monitoring surveys for vertical and horizontal movement checks.
CAD drafting using latest software.
Site Surveys consists of three senior surveyors and one senior technician. All staff have a minimum of six years and up to 40 years' experience in New Zealand, throughout Australia and the Pacific Basin.
Equipment used includes Trimble iBase and portable base Glonass GPS and Trimble Robotic theodolites. All survey equipment has annual calibration checks.
We also provide extensive drafting services using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other CAD software via our IT consultants. This expertise enables us to take on a wide range of surveying projects.
Site Surveys has a proactive health and safety culture, a written safety manual with on-ongoing safety monitoring and training programmes. We are members of SiteSafe, registered with, and assessed by SiteWise to certified Green status.
We carry full professional Indemnity and public liability insurance cover with Lumley and Delta Insurance.
